The Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour is a once-in-lifetime outing featuring two Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees. Prolific rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd will also be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of their debut album, Pronounced ‘Lĕh-‘nérd ‘Skin-‘nérd. The double-platinum-selling album was released in 1973 and spawned several iconic singles, such as “Free Bird,” “Gimme Three Steps,” and “Simple Man.” Upon its release, Pronounced ‘Lĕh-‘nérd ‘Skin-‘nérd performed moderately well, peaking at number 27 on the Billboard 200. The album’s legacy and the band’s growing influence on the rock community made the record one of the industry's most treasured gems. In 2012, Rolling Stone included the album in the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. Lynyrd Skynyrd moved on to sell more than 28 million albums worldwide. In 2006, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The Houston-based rock heroes have released 15 studio albums and sold over 50 million albums worldwide. The band, which specializes in outlaw blues rock music, has produced some of the most iconic hits, such as “La Grange,” “Sharp Dressed Man,” and “Gimme All Your Lovin.” Five decades into their phenomenal career, the band remains active in touring, amassing thousands of rock fans for each concert they perform.
