Nickelback has one of the most unbelievable backstories of any rock band. Established in 1995 in Hanna, Alberta, Canada, the band originally began as a rock band. The rest of the band consists of Chad Kroeger (lead vocals and guitar), Ryan Peake (lead vocals, keyboards, and acoustic guitar), Mike Kroeger (bass and vocals), and Daniel Adair (drums). With over 50 million records sold worldwide, the band is one of the most successful in Canadian music history. Thanks to "How You Remind Me," the best-selling rock song and the fourth best-selling song overall in 2009, they topped Billboard's lists of the best-selling artists and top rock bands of the decade.
In 1999, the band signed with Roadrunner Records, and by 2002, their breakthrough single, "How You Remind Me," was making waves in the industry. The album Silver Side Up, on which it appeared, was certified eight times platinum in Canada. After the release of Nickelback's fourth studio album, The Long Road, in 2003, the lead single "Someday" topped the Canadian charts and reached No. 7 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. All the Right Reasons was released in 2005 and quickly became their best-selling album, yielding three top-ten and five top-twenty singles on the Billboard Hot 100. Three of the album's singles—"Photograph," "Far Away," and "Rockstar"—charted highly in that country. The album Dark Horse (2008) by Nickelback yielded a total of eight singles, the most successful of which was "Gotta Be Somebody," which reached the top ten in the United States. Here and Now, their seventh studio album, was the most popular album in Canada that year (2011). Get Rollin' is the band's tenth studio album overall, following 2014's No Fixed Address and 2017's Feed the Machine.
