Friday 18th October 2024, the Woodlands 50th Anniversary hits the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Of course, a monumental celebration such as this should only feature Texas’ prides – in this case, it’s legendary four time Grammy winning singer-songwriter Lyle Lovett, and Woodlands born icons Hayes Carll and Jack Ingram. Together, these country stars will deliver their most staggering hits and light up Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion like never before.
Lyle Lovett is a living legend with countless of magnificent titles spanning four decades. Lovett is most known for his unwavering classics like “If I Had A Boat,” “On the Road Again,” “You’ve Got a Friend In Me,” “Funny How Time Slips Away,” and countless more. Lovett has dropped some of the most groundbreaking records in the country circuit, including Lyle Lovett and His Large Band, The Road to Ensanada, and his latest body of work 12th of June. A recipient of four Grammy Awards and inducted into the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame.
Woodlands born singer-songwriter, Hayes Carll is an interesting artist known for his compelling poetry and roots-driven influences. The six-time Austin Awards-winning phenomenon and 2010 Americana Music Awards’ Emerging Artist of the Year broke into the charts with KMAG YOYO, hitting number 12 on the Top Country charts. In 2016, his fifth album Lovers and Leavers, a fantastic work that entered the Folk charts for the first time, peaking at number 4. In 2021, Carll released his latest album, You Get It All.
Another Woodlands born artist, Jack Ingram is no stranger to dropping top 40 hits. The country star has dropped some of the most piping hot singles, such as “Lips of An Angel,” “Measure of a Man,” “Barefoot and Crazy,” and tons more.
