Shock rock and heavy metal artist Rob Zombie has been pushing the boundaries of music since 1998. He emerged into the music scene when his metal band, White Zombie, released their debut album, Soul-crusher, in 1987. The band enjoyed moderate success with their four studio albums, two of which were certified platinum in the United States. In 1998, Rob Zombie released his first solo album, Hellbilly Deluxe: 13 Tales of Cadaverous Cavorting Inside the Spookshow International. The multi-platinum record peaked at number 5 on the Billboard 200 chart and entered the chart in seven other countries. Zombie continued to release six more studio albums, each one entering the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart. His latest album, The Lunar Injection Kool-Aid Eclipse Conspiracy, performed impressively on the Billboard charts: peaking at number 9 on the Billboard 200 and number 1 on the Top Rock Albums, Top Hard Rock Albums, and Top Independent Albums charts.
Math-metal band Mudvayne will join Rob Zombie on the Freaks on Parade Tour as co-headliner. The quartet is known for their experimental music style containing elements of progressive rock, alternative, and hard rock. Their self-titled fifth album was dropped in 2009 and peaked at number 53 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album’s lead single, “Scream With Me,” charted at number 3 on the Mainstream Rock chart. The Grammy Award-nominated band, who enjoyed success from 2000 to 2009, returned from a lengthy hiatus. In 2021, the band reunited and played their first shows in 12 years. Moreover, there are also rumors of an upcoming sixth album, but the band has yet to announce any news. So, eager fans are still waiting.
